I purchased some WBT's NextGen to make up a phono cable...took some time but right off the bat it sounded just as good as my Cardas entry level cable. Total cost with wire was $340 all in delivered to the door. Not exactly cheap but I don't think there's any better. More money gets you a tone control for your system IMHO. Very happy with my DIY, again I cannot hear any difference to my Cardas.
