Mogami 3104 True Bi-wire Speaker Cables
new 3104 True Bi-Wire speaker cables feature all Deep Cryo Treated parts in
their construction as well as an attractive black tightweave or colored PET sleeve and printed shrinktubes.
They are available in configurations using spade or banana
These cables are designed for bi-amped systems. All conductors are individually terminated, four connections at the speaker end and four connections at the amplifier as well. They may also be used with amplifiers that have two sets of speaker terminals for each channel.
Mogami 3104 speaker cables were designed to deliver maximum performance from
state-of-the-art Bi-amped Systems. They offer true audiophile performance for
accurate sound transmission with clear transparent response yet possess a
rugged superflexibilty for the most demanding applications. Each
conductor features many strands in rope-lay of famous MOGAMI 'Neglex'
Oxygen-Free-Copper within colour-coded PVC insulation. A tough, low
profile matte black superflexible PVC jacket protects the cables. In our True Bi-wire configuration these cables are 12 AWG per pole.

Our measurements are done on actual finished cables,
these results can be quite different than the manufacturer specs for
the same cable. Measurements for raw unterminated cables are usually
based on conductor-conductor and conductor-shield readings on long
lengths of unterminated cable.
per ft measurements are a good guideline to determine the suitability
of a cable for an application but in most cases they cannot be
extrapolated to give you the specs of a given length of finished cable.
The reason for this is that they do not take into consideration the
variables that come into play when a cable is terminated such as
telescoped shields, conductor grouping and the connectors themselves. The results below are for the finished cable of the noted length.

PLEASE NOTE: the base price is for 1 cable,

use only high quality Deep Cryo Treated Copper Alloy connectors on our custom cables. The
standard termination for our cables is the Vampire HDS5. This is a
direct gold plated, copper alloy spade. The HDS5 is a 1/4" spade that will fit standard 1/4" binding posts.
The Vampire HDS3 5/16" spade is available as an optional termination. This spade is the
same quality construction as the HDS5, the only difference is the larger
size. If you are ordering spade terminations for your cables be sure to
check the binding post sizes on your amps and speakers to ensure you
are ordering the correct size for your application.
We also offer optional 4mm banana connections. We are using the Multi-Contact LS4 banana because of the excellent sonics and low mass. The rolled design
of these connectors makes a tight fit in every binding post we have
tried them in. Solder termination is done using a precision OK International MFR Cartridge System and Mundorf Silver/Gold solder.
HDS connectors are applied using a high pressure die which creates a
"gas tight" crimp connection. The wire is also given a generous
treatment of DeoxIt Gold before the spade is pressed on to ensure the
best contact and to inhibit corrosion.
Spade and banana
connections are covered with adhesive lined Polyolefin shrinktube to
offer strain relief and to help seal the connection point and conductor
from the environment. Amplifier leads and Non-biwire speaker leads are also colour coded with shrinktube. We only use
high grade Crosslinked Polyolefin shrinktube in our cable construction.
Get Started by selecting the length of cable you need to reach from your amplifier to your speakers. Next, select the type of termination you want on the speaker end of the
cables. You have the same choices here as on the amplifier end, as with the
amplifier terminations, be sure to check your speaker binding posts to
see which size spade you require.

them pre-conditioned on our cable cooker. Please allow four days for
the pre-conditioning process.
If you have your cables pre-conditioned
(burned in) on our audiodharma Cable Cooker they will require only a
minimal amount of time to reach their full potential, typically about one
day of normal use to settle in and another 2-3 days of normal use to
reach about 90-95% of it's full potential.
