This high performance IEC features 7mm wide contact blades and is a favourite of the do it yourself crowd and commercial manufacturers alike. This connector will accept up to a 16 AWG wire without soldering and will accept 12 AWG with the use of solder. Solder is the preferred method of connection with these IEC's.
