Sales policy: All new accessories and equipment are sold with full manufacturers warranty. If you have a problem, contact us and we will either have the item repaired or replaced. Whether it is repaired or replaced will be at the discretion of the manufacturer or distributor. Customer will be responsible for shipping charges to us or the repair depot.
All of our used equipment is cleaned, inspected and tubes (if any) are tested and replaced if necessary. The unit is then subjected to a thorough listening test before being offered for sale. Some of the pieces offered for sale may have time remaining on manufacturers warranty, remaining transferable warranty or full manufacturers warranty. If neither of these three conditions apply, the unit has no warranty expressed or implied. Equipment is returnable only if damaged in shipment or is not working upon it's arrival. In such a case Take Five Audio must be notified immediately to make arrangements for return and refund or exchange. We reserve the right to refuse to refund all or part of the purchase price if it appears the equipment was damaged by the client while in their possession.
Minimum Order Amount: All online and phone orders must be a minimum $25.00 CDN merchandise amount.
Online orders: We reserve the right to refuse fulfillment or request alternate form of payment for any online order at our sole discretion.
Return policy: Parts, equipment and accessories (except phono cartridges and styli) may be returned for store credit if still in new condition and original packaging for a period of 30 days from receipt. (Canada Post item tracking will determine date of receipt) Alternatively items may be returned for refund if still in new condition and original packaging within 30 days from receipt. Refunds will be subject to a 20% restocking charge, shipping charges are non-refundable with either option. All product that has been cut to length, such as cable/wire, is final sale. All items from our clearance centre are final sale. Phono cartridges and styli may only be returned if they arrive in non-functional condition due to shipping damage or manufacturing defect. If you are unsure if a cartridge is suitable for your system please contact us before purchasing the cartridge. No refund or exchange will be offered on functional cartridges or styli that have been mounted. We reserve the right to refuse refund on any item if item or packaging has been damaged. No merchandise may be returned without an RMA number. An RMA number may be requested by logging into your customer account and selecting "Review Previous Orders" in the "Orders" category. Next select the "RMA" link in the order line.
The 20% restocking fee is waived if the customer chooses to have their refund in the form of a store credit.
A store credit is issued in the form of a gift certificate that may be used in part or in full by the customer during the checkout process.
Canadian customers: Ontario, British Columbia, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Newfoundland residents will have HST applied to their purchases. All other residents of Canada will have GST applied to their purchases.
International customers: International shipments may have local/state taxes and/or duties due upon their arrival in the destination country. The customer is responsible for any and all taxes/duties levied by their state/country.
Customs documents: Take Five Audio does not falsify customs documents. We will not declare low values on international orders. Please DO NOT ASK.
