International Orders
International customers no longer have to request a shipping quote before ordering! Simply place your online order as usual and you will automatically be presented with the shipping options that apply to your location. If your particular country is not in the dropdown list we are currently not shipping to that location, sorry.
 
Please Note:
With USA and International Small Packets air or surface, coverage for loss or damage is a maximum of $100.00 CDN.  When a customer selects Small Packets shipping for an order valued in excess of $100.00 CDN, in the event of loss or damage they are accepting sole responsibility for the portion of the loss or damage of the package and contents which exceeds the $100.00 CDN insurance limit. Also see "Trace File" below.
 
USA Orders
Our site now offers our US customers a wider variety of shipping options.
 
How do you ship?
We ship all online orders electronically using Canada Post. Online orders placed by 2:00 pm local time will ship same day. When your order ships, an email confirmation with tracking # will be sent to the email address you provided. Tracking numbers are not provided with Small Packet Air or Small Packet Surface. However you can check the status of your order through our order tracking system which can be accessed online using your customer account. Our order tracking system will tell you if the order has been processed and when it has been shipped.
 
What are my options?
You will be presented with a list of shipping service level options after you enter your address information. The options displayed also include the expected delivery date for that service level and the cost. Some of you may notice that Xpresspost is not offered as an option, this is because the delivery date for Xpresspost and lower priced services for your address are the same, in this case only the lower priced option is offered. Small Packet Air and Small Packet Surface will not be an option if the weight of your order exceeds 2 Kilograms.
 
Rates
The rates displayed are actual shipping costs to your address, they are generated in real time by Canada Post. If in the unlikely event the Canada Post server is down and the shipping rates do not display, please send us an email at
shipping@takefiveaudio.com.
What happens if my order is missing/damaged?
We ship all our orders insured. If your order does not arrive on the date specified for the shipping standard you selected let us know and we will contact the carrier.
 
Trace File
There is however a period of time that must elapse before Canada Post will open a trace file for a package. For Xpresspost it is 24 hours after expected delivery date. For Expedited it is 30 days after expected delivery date. For Small Packets Air it is 45 days after date of mailing, for Small Packet Surface it is 75 days after date of mailing.
 
If Canada Post confirms the package has been lost we will reship your order or refund your credit card for the insured value that day. If your parcel looks or sounds broken when it is delivered mention it to the delivery person before they leave. Send the damaged package back to us and we will reship your order the day we receive it. We will not make you wait till it is sorted out with the carrier.
